We want everyone to be able to use PsyBird. Before each release, an automatic test checks the app’s screens against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. This page says what we have done in the PsyBird app and what is still left; the app says the same under Settings → Accessibility.
What you can do today. You can use PsyBird with a keyboard, and it shows where you are on the screen. Its buttons and fields have names a screen reader can read, and a screen reader hears each new reply from Psy and each new message once. It follows your device’s setting to reduce motion. On iPhone, a client’s app follows the phone’s text size, up to twice the usual size.
Still to do. Some words on the colored goal cards are lighter than the guidelines ask for, and we are still testing the app with screen readers.
Tell us about a barrier. If something is hard to use with your setup, tell us in the app (Settings → Contact support) or at support@psybird.ai, and say what you were trying to do. We treat a barrier as a bug.
